Eldora Speedway, Rossburg, Ohio, will host a comprehensive SFI Track Incident Response Class on Saturday, May 16, and Sunday, May 17, 2026. Presented by Simpson and endorsed by both the World of Outlaws and USAC Racing, the free event is designed to provide hands-on safety training for track personnel.

The program features eight practical learning stations focused on critical emergency scenarios:

  • Helmet and HANS device removal
  • Spinal immobilization
  • Driver extraction
  • Hydraulic and non-hydraulic cutting and moving
  • Airway management and hemorrhage control within a chassis or tub
  • Driver/medic interaction with driver in car
  • Roll-over controlled movement and driver removal
  • Pathway to Life and fire suppression

The training runs from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm each day, and participants only need to attend one session to complete the full curriculum. In addition to the free instruction, lunch will be provided for all attendees.

This initiative aims to instruct track workers on how to respond safely and appropriately to on-track emergencies through realistic, hands-on study. Participants will also have the opportunity to earn a Track Worker Certification following the training.

Interested parties can register or submit questions by emailing TrackServices@EldoraSpeedway.com.
